ReplyCan't believe Ms Teal put Ken Ulman on this list ---He will beat Brown in the primary. Brown is a nice fellow, but has no clue on how to govern. Ulman has done a great job in Howard County. Poor Nancy will have to stay in Montgomery County.

ReplyWhat is Mr Cohen's proof that the ICC was "designed for speeds up to 60"---That would be crazy---This is a brand new road with all the most current safety features. It should be 70 mph!

ReplyI thinks the Councilman's idea has merit. It would be worth a 4-6 months trial period. If it does increase traffic on the ICC that only means less traffic on lower 270 and the beltway. We really need to find ways ways to get more drivers on the ICC. It obviously can be a useful tool in helping to manage traffic, but with the fairly meager usage it has had little effect. Bureaurcrats must look for creative ideas to solve problems.

ReplyI never buy liquor or wine in Montgomery County. You can go to DC or Virginia and make the trip worthwhile with the savings , Plus, the service is so much better.

ReplyGreat move for Maryland. $6 mil more from Big Ten TV contract. We will miss the Duke --Md basketball ,but that is about all. With the extra money Md should be able to reinstate the sports they had to drop. . In 5-6 years we will all look back on this move a positive step ---
