Reply"The most important thing that we can do at this time is to keep those killed,
injured and their families, the police officials putting their lives on the line
to protect the community, in our thoughts and prayers, as well the family of the
suspects, who are as shocked at the happenings as we all are."Bob Hydorn

J, Thank you, so many people think that Montgomery Village is a part of Gaithersburg,. It is not. We are very good neighbors with the City of Gaithersburg, yet Montgomery Village is not within the boundaries of Gaithersburg.

Kelly, Once the no u-turn sign got posted, many of those that made the u-turn have started to use the MVF parking lot as their turn around. I came close to getting hit in the parking lot one morning as I was dropping off papers at the office. I find one of the biggest problems happening recently not just in the Village but all over, are people running stop signs. Many don't even slow up. I must commend the MCP; they have been active in our community nabbing those that run stop signs.

ReplyWhat ever happened to letting our local school systems run their own business. Once again the State is getting involved. Does the State Legislature want to take 100% control of the Counties?

ReplyLois, Stonefish and Market Place had to make a business decision, which they obviously have done. I am not privileged to know the details of what happened. I have however spoken with the owner of the Market Place and yes Stonefish will not be opening at that location. We were extremely excited when it was first announced that they would be opening. A real sit down restaurant would be such a nice amenity in the Village. We certainly miss Sir Walter Raleigh. In my conversation with the owner of Market Place the Thai restaurant will be opening this spring. Let’s all support them when they open.
