A Montgomery Village artist is taking his work north. Chris Noel, known for using bits of trash or recycling in his three-dimensional paintings, will have 20 pieces on display through Jan. 27 at an exhibit at The Artists’ Gallery in Frederick, The Gazette reported. "These paintings are basically collections of various items that no longer seem useful (trash)," Noel says on his website. "The sad thing is that I often don't need to look any further than my own home or office to find an abundance of material. It's almost inconceivable to me how much waste our culture manages to generate."
