Suspect threatened victim in the parking lot of the Montgomery Village Plaza shopping center.
Montgomery County Police are on the lookout for a man who got into a woman’s vehicle in Montgomery Village on Monday night and tried to carjack her at knifepoint before her screams frightened him off. The adult female victim was in the parking lot of the Montgomery Village Plaza—off Contour and Lost Knife roads—a few minutes before 7:30pm when an unknown male entered the passenger-side door and brandished a knife, police said. When the victim screamed, the suspect fled on foot into a wooded area near Goshen Road, police said. The suspect is described as a dark-skinned male, 5’2” or 5’3” tall, weighing 130 to 160 pounds and wearing dark clothing.
