Report: Montgomery Village Teen To Serve 18 Months For Pizza Delivery Robberies

A Montgomery Village teen and former Watkins Mill High School football player will serve 18 months in jail for a series of robberies committed on pizza delivery drivers last summer, The Gazette reported. Marcus Addison, 18, was sentenced to 50 years, with all but the 18 months suspended, according to the report. Montgomery County Circuit Court Judge Richard Jordan told Addison the suspended 48 years would "ruin your life if you find yourself in this situation again,” according to the report. Addison, of the 19000 block of Mills Choice Road, robbed six delivery drivers for a total of $540 from Gaithersburg-area Domino's Pizza and Papa John's Pizza restuarants at gunpoint. Police later determined the gun used by Addison was a pellet gun. …

UPDATED: Watkins Mill Senior Charged in Spree of Pizza-Delivery Robberies
Defensive starter from last year's football team has been charged as an adult with six counts of armed robbery and two counts of attempted armed robbery.
Montgomery County police charged a Montgomery Village teen in an elaborate scheme using a cell phone application to lay in wait for pizza deliveries and rob the drivers of money and pies. Marcus A. Addison, 17, of the 19000 block of Mills Choice Road, was charged as an adult with two counts of attempted armed robbery and six counts of armed robbery in connection with a series of robberies involving pizza delivery employees in Montgomery Village and Gaithersburg. School officials have confirmed that Addison is a senior at Watkins Mill High School, where he was a defensive starter on last year's varsity football team. Suspect Sought In Wednesday Morning Attempted Armed Robbery
Gaithersburg police are looking for a man in connection to a stabbing in the 100 block of Gold Kettle Drive on Wednesday morning.
Gaithersburg police are investigating a stabbing that occurred at approximately 7:25 a.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of Gold Kettle Drive. According to police, the female victim was in her vehicle preparing to leave when an unknown Hispanic male approached on the passenger side and engaged her in conversation. The suspect proceeded to walk around to the driver side door, opened it and demanded property. A struggle ensued and the suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim, police said. The suspect fled the scene on a bicycle in an unknown direction and the victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. i know one of the drivers 20+ years on the job was a victim twice of this young man. So afraid to drive now, he refuses to be a closer and only deliver in the day light, greatly effecting his pay.
