Walker House Apartments offers studio apartments, one and two bedroom units, two bedroom penthouses and garden apartments, for a total of 212 units. The garden apartments are located in two-story structures and feature upscale kitchen appliances and cabinets, a built-in microwave oven and a washer and dryer. The six-story high rise units provide microwave ovens as well. Each floor has a shared laundry room, and cats are the only permitted pets. All utilities are included in the rent for the high rise units, and residents pay for electricity in the garden apartments. Community amenities include a large, fully equipped fitness room, an outdoor pool, tennis courts, a convenience store and a community room with a pool table available for rent by Walker House tenants only. A free coffee bar is offered in the community room. For an extra fee, basement storage rooms are available, as are six month leases. There is also free permit parking available to residents.
