I need to make one correction I worked at Montgomery Village Day Care from December 2000 until August of 2002. So I was working at this facility over 10 years ago not 12. It will be 12 years ago that I got the job in December of 2000. I hope that the State of Maryland closes this Center down. It is so dangerous. I am suprised a child has not ended up dead. This center is SCARY and it needs to be closed down and the people who run and own the center needs to be arrested. As someone who has just recently earned her degree in Criminal Justice closes it down soon.

They also are also run a drug dealing business out of the Day Care. The staff there engage in the following: Drug Dealing, Money Laundering, Child Abuse, and stalking. The reason that I know this is I used to work for this facility twelve years ago. They also made threats against my life and the life of my family. The Montgomery County police, the State Police an the FBI need to investigate them. Parents keep your children out of this facility. If you don't your child could end up dead or badly hurt
If there was a way to rate <1 star I would.. I recently toured this facility and found it completely disgusting. The caregivers did not know what a lesson plan was and the director stated candy was given as a reward.
The most horrifying observations I made was that anyone would have access into any of the rooms since the only security was the front door. (no door knob on infant room and no intercom to speak with someone before opening the front door). The toddler room had 2 open trash cans with dirty diapers, no lid on the cans and diapers were not in any bags. There was no paper or disinfecting wipes where the diapers would be changed just an old pad. Also noted in older 3+yrs age group the kids were allowed to go back into the classroom to use the potty unattended. The worse and what made us go running was when we walked into the unattended kitchen. There we saw an open aerosol can next to the spaghetti pot and a 10" KNIFE ON THE FLOOR! The kitchen had no doors so any of the unattended children going to the bathroom could have easily walked into the kitchen and gotten their little hands on it.
I would rather pay double the price or driven our of my way than to risk the safety of my children to Montgomery Village Daycare. I expected more out of a center that has been in business for 37+ years and claims to be a fixture of the community.
Who regulates these facilities? They are in serious need of an inspection and possible shut down.

Please Investigate this Day Care. I have talked to some old friends of mine say they walked in there and the conditons were SHOCKING!!! These are some of the allegations as follows: They were cussing at the children, locking the children in dark closets for punishment, and hitting the children. I am begging to have this center closed down due to the conditions of this Day Care are TERRIFYING and a disaster is bound to happen
