The Gaithersburg Trojans ran out to an early lead and never looked back, defeating the Magruder Colonels 20-7 in the Trojans' Homecoming Game -- which was played at Richard Montgomery High School because of GHS construction.
Gaithersburg's Billy Brown continued his torrid senior campaign by catching a touchdown pass and a two point conversion, running for a touchdown and registering big sacks on opposing quarterbacks.
Senior QB Lincoln Reyes threw a 21-yard touchdown pass to Brown to give the Trojans a quick 6-0 lead. Brown then ran 13 yards out of the wildcat for a touchdown as several teammates helped push the pile across the goal line. Reyes hit Brown in the corner of the end zone for the two-point conversion to give the Trojans a 14-0 lead. Reyes finished off the Trojans' scoring with a 3-yard run in the third quarter, building the lead to 20-0.
