Put some purpose behind your chili-dips, duffs and wayward putts by teeing off with dozens of Watkins Mill fans and family at the 3rd Annual Wolverine Golf Classic.
June 17 is the date, 9 a.m. is the shotgun start, Laytonsville Golf Course is the locale.
Sign your foursome up pronto for the best-ball tourney, $400 per team. (Individuals can register for $100; Watkins Mill students and staff pay $75). The entry fee gets you a cart, a bucket of range balls, the 18-hole round and a buffet lunch afterwards. Long-drive and closest-to-the-pin awards sweeten the pot, plus a raffle at the end of the outing.

The tournament is organized and hosted by the Watkins Mill Boosters. All proceeds will go toward Watkins Mill student activities and scholarships.
