The Wolverines host Damascus in the Maryland 3A West region quarterfinals, a rematch of Watkins Mill's 1-0 win on Oct. 21 that cinched up the 3A West regular-season crown.
Front and center for the Hornets is Yaw Amankwa, part of the U.S. National team's player pool and a European club team recruit. The Wolverines answer with some of Montgomery County's top soccer talent, including Patrick Pato -- first team all-state last year -- and William Yougnia, whose 12 goals this year puts him alongside the county's most prolific scorers.
