Stormy Weather Forces Sports Cancellations
Watkins Mill games have been postponed this evening.
The inclement weather has forced Montgomery County school official to cancel or postpone various outdoor activities involving the Watkins Mill athletic teams.
The Wolverines boys’ varsity and junior varsity soccer games at Clarksburg scheduled for tonight have been postponed. The game has been rescheduled for Saturday, Sept. 17.
Meanwhile, the girls tennis match scheduled for today was moved to Friday, Sept. 16.
However, no word yet on the status of Friday night’s varsity football game at Damascus. The Wolverines opened the at home last week with a victory over Poolesville.
