Boyds Resident Joins Montgomery County Delegation

David Fraser-Hidalgo sworn in Monday

The newest member of the Montgomery County house delegation got his official welcome Monday.

David Fraser-Hidalgo, a Democrat and a resident of Boyds, was sworn in by Speaker Michael Busch and will represent Maryland Legislative District 15, which covers much of upper Montgomery County.

The District 15 seat was vacated by Brian Feldman (D), who, after serving 11 years in the House, was appointed last month to the Senate seat vacated by Senator Rob Garagiola, a Democrat from Germantown.
