Three Robberies, Three burglaries, Two Assaults

The following is from the most recent crime summary for the Montgomery County Police Department's Sixth District, which covers Montgomery Village and Gaithersburg. Arrests do not imply guilt.

A residential burglary occurred between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 13 in the 18100 block of Kilrush Court, in the Grover’s Forge neighborhood of South Village. Forced entry; property taken.

An aggravated assault occurred in the 9300 block of Bremerton Lane in Patton Ridge on Wednesday, July 13. A 24-year-old male of unknown address was arrested.

One vehicle theft and two attempts occurred between 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 14 at and 10 a.m. Friday, July 15 off Woodfield Road, north of the Montgomery County Airpark: 

• Theft - 7400 block of Brenish Drive. The vehicle was unlocked.
• Attempt - 7500 block of Brenish Drive. The vehicle was unlocked.
• Attempt - 7400 block of Cinnabar Terrace. The vehicle was unlocked.

An armed robbery occurred at Swan Stream Drive and Ivy Oak Terrace—near Flower Hill—at around 6:15 p.m. on Thursday, July 14. Three suspects assaulted the alleged victim and took undisclosed property. The suspects are all described as black males between 28 and 32 years old. One suspect had dreadlocks and is between 5’8” and 5’10” tall. The second suspect was wearing a green t-shirt. The third suspect is 5’10” tall, weighs between 180 and 220 pounds, has short hair and was wearing a red polo shirt.

A strong-arm robbery occurred in unit block of Harbor Tree Court in Eastgate at around 1:20 a.m. on Saturday, July 16. Undisclosed property was taken. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 5’5” to 5’7” tall.

A residential burglary occurred in the 18400 block of Lost Knife Circle—in the Cider Mill apartments—between 10:45 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. on Saturday July 16. Forced entry; property taken.

An aggravated assault involving one suspect and one alleged victim occurred in the 8100 Fallow Drive—near Midcounty Highway and Washington Grove Lane—at around 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 16.

A strong-arm robbery occurred at Ridgeline Drive and Clubhouse Road—near the Montgomery Village Center—at around 11:15 pm. on Saturday July 16. Five suspects described as black males assaulted an alleged victim and took undisclosed property.

A commercial burglary occurred between Saturday, July 16 and Monday, July 18 at Prolist Inc., at 8341 Beechcraft Ave., next to the Montgomery County Airpark. Forced entry; it is not known if property was taken.
