Teens Strong-Arm Victim at Club House Bus Stop

This crime summary is from the weekly report for Feb. 20 through Feb. 28 from the Montgomery County Police Department's 6th District, which covers Montgomery Village and Gaithersburg.

The Meadowgate neighborhood of East Village was hit with two residential burglaries and one attempt the morning of Wednesday, Feb. 22:

  • An attempted residential burglary between 8:45am and 8:55am in the unit block of Ivoryton Ct. Attempted forced entry; nothing taken.
  • A residential burglary between 8:55am and 9:02am in the unit block of Ivoryton Ct. Unforced entry; nothing taken.
  • A residential burglary between 9:45 am and 10:45 am in the unit block of Stalvey Hill Ct. No forced entry; property taken.    

An attempted residential burglary occurred at around 2:10pm on Wednesday, Feb. 22 in the 19500 block of Ridge Heights Drive, off Snouffer School Road. Attempted forced entry; nothing taken.

 A strong-arm robbery occurred at the bus stop at Club House Road and Montgomery Village Avenue just after 5pm on Thursday, Feb. 23. The suspects assaulted the victim and removed property. The first suspect is described as a black male, 14 years old, 5’10” to 6’2” tall, with a shaved head and wearing a gray hoodie. The second suspect is described as a black male, 15 to 18 years old and wearing a multi-colored button-down shirt.

A strong-arm robbery occurred at around 5:30am on Friday, Feb. 24 in the 8300 block of McCullough Lane, the Mill Creek Garden Apartments outside Washington Grove. The suspect—described as a black male wearing a black jacket—forcefully removed property from the victim.

A commercial burglary to a storage unit at U Store It, 8001 Snouffer School Road, near the Montgomery County Airpark, was broken into sometime between Monday, Feb. 20 and Tuesday, Feb. 28. Forced entry; undisclosed property taken.

An aggravated assault occurred in the 19600 block of Framingham Drive outside Montgomery Village at around 2:30am on Sunday, Feb. 26. The suspects assaulted the victim then fled. Both suspects are described as Hispanic males between 18 and 21 years old—the first is 5’7” to 5’8” tall and weighing 200 and 250; the second suspect is 5’10” to 5’11” tall and weighing 160 to 17 pounds.

A residential burglary occurred in the 9200 block of Chadburn Place in North Village shortly before 2am on Monday, Feb. 27. Police provided no further information.

An indecent exposure occurred at the in the Montgomery Village Center, 19214 Montgomery Village Ave., at around 6:20pm on Tuesday, Feb. 28. The suspect exposed himself to the victim then fled. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male with short curly hair, 5’6” to 5’10” tall, weighing 130 to 165 pounds and wearing a gray shirt, red vest and blue jeans
