Strong-Arm Robbery, Two Burglaries, Car Stolen Then Found

Crime summary covers June 27 to July 5.

The following is from the most recent crime summary for the Montgomery County Police Department's 6th District, which covers Montgomery Village and Gaithersburg. Arrests do not imply guilt.

 

  • A vehicle was stolen from the 9100 block of Turtle Dove Lane outside Montgomery Village between Wednesday, June 29 and Thursday, June 30. The 2009 Honda Civic was recovered on June 30—missing all four wheels—in East Village.
  • A residential burglary occurred in the 20800 block of Bell Bluff Road outside Gaithersburg on Friday, July 1.  Forced entry; nothing taken.
  • A residential burglary occurred n the 9300 block of Willow Creek Drive in South Village on Monday, July 4. Property removed.
  • A strong-arm robbery occurred at Watkins Mill Road and Club House Road on Tuesday, July 5. Three suspects assaulted the victim and obtained property. All three suspects are described as black males, 16 to 17 years old and 5’6’ to 5’7” tall. One had crew cut hair and was wearing a gray tank top and camouflage shorts. Another was wearing a white tank top and a black backpack. The third was wearing a white shirt, camouflage pants and a black backpack.
  • A theft of vehicle parts occurred in the 18400 block of Mayapple Court in Flower Hill.
  • A theft of vehicle parts occurred in the 8300 block of Mountain Ash Way in Flower Hill.
