Police Blotter: July 16 to 24

Armed robbery, attempted burglary and theft from vehicles were reported for the third week in July.

An armed robbery, and attempted burglary as well as thefts from vehicles were reported in the Montgomery Village area between July 16 and 24.

  • An armed robbery occurred in the 19100 block of Mills Choice Road in Montgomery Village on Monday July 23 around 9:20 pm.  The suspect displayed a weapon and obtained property. The suspect is a male, 20-29 years, 5’6” with a thin build, wearing dark clothing.
  • An attempted burglary occurred in the 9300 block of Bathgate Court in Gaithersburg on Friday July 20 around 4:00 am.  Attempted forced entry; nothing taken.
  • Two vehicle-related thefts occurred in the 10000 block of Battleridge Place in Montgomery Village sometime between Friday July 20 and July 22. Forced entry; vehicle part taken.
