Crime Report: Burglaries, Robbery, Two Assaults

This crime summary is from the weekly report for Jan. 30 through Feb. 7 from the Montgomery County Police Department's 6th District, which covers Montgomery Village and Gaithersburg.

Two burglaries occurred in the 8200 block of Streamside Drive in Flower Hill between 7:30am and 12:45pm on Tuesday, Jan. 31. Forced entry; undisclosed property taken.

A commercial burglary occurred at Armand’s Pizza—18208 Contour Road in the Montgomery Village Plaza shopping center—at around 3am on Thursday, Feb. 2. Forced entry; nothing taken.

A residential burglary occurred in the 8400 block of St. Regis Way in East Village just after 3pm on Saturday, Feb. 4. Forced entry; nothing taken.             

A strong-arm robbery occurred on Saturday, Feb. 4 around 10:30 pm in the parking lot of Bloom grocery store, 883 Russell Ave. in Gaithersburg. Four males assaulted the victim and obtained property. They are described as being between 18 and 20 years old. One of the suspects had long, curly hair.

An aggravated assault occurred in the 400 block of Christopher Avenue in Gaithersburg at around 3:45pm on Sunday, Feb. 5. Additional details are not available.

An aggravated assault occurred in the parking lot of the B&B Beer and Wine, 8403 Snouffer School Road outside Gaithersburg, at around 7:30pm on Sunday, Feb. 5. The suspect assaulted the victim with a weapon, then fled.
