Burglar Steals Cash Register, Asks for Bandage
The "smash-and-grab" took place at Multi Enviros on May 30.

The burglar in a Montgomery Village store smash-and-grab reportedly stopped for a bandage after the burglary, according to the police.
The theft took place at about 10 p.m. Thursday, May 30, when a burglar smashed the front door to Multi Enviros (19110 Montgomery Village Ave.), took a cash register and fled, according to a police statement.

But the burglar didn’t go far, police investigators discovered. Police said that after the burglary, the burglar went to a nearby beer and wine store to ask that store’s owner for a Band-Aid. Detectives obtained surveillance video and photos of the suspect from the beer and wine store.
Police ask that anyone with information regarding the identity of the burglar contact the detectives at 240-773-6237. Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided that leads to an arrest or indictment for this felony crime.
