BB Gun Attack, Peeping Tom, Sex Assault at Silver Diner

The following is from the most recent crime summary for the Montgomery County Police Department's 6th District, which covers Montgomery Village and Gaithersburg. Arrests do not imply guilt.

  • An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 9400 block of Collette Way in South Village between 6 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 14. Forced entry attempted; nothing taken.
  • A theft from vehicle occurred in the 7900 block of Queenair Drive in Gaithersburg between 3:30 p.m. on Friday, June 17 and 1:20 a.m. on Saturday, June 18. Forced entry; property taken.
  • A residential burglary occurred in the 9900 block of Forest View Place in Patton Ridge between 6:30 p.m. on Friday, June 17 and 2:45 p.m. on Saturday, June 18. Forced entry; nothing taken.
  • An aggravated assault occurred in the 18200 block of Contour Road in South Village at around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 18. Two victims were hit by pellets. A juvenile male from Montgomery Village was arrested.
  • A peeping tom incident occurred in the 19000 block of Quail Valley Boulevard—near Strawberry Knoll Park—outside Gaithersburg at around 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 18. The suspect was seen looking into a window. The suspect is described as a white male, 17 to 20 years old, wearing khaki shorts and no shirt.
  • An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 19500 block of Burlingame Way in Stedwick between 2:30 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. on Monday, June 20. Forced entry attempted; nothing taken.
  • An attempted commercial burglary occurred at 18500 Office Park Drive, near Walkers Choice, between 8 p.m. on Monday, June 20 and 8 a.m. on Tuesday, June 21. Forced entry attempted; nothing taken.
  • A sex offense occurred at the Silver Diner in Lakeforest mall, 7 Russell Ave. at around 10:30 p.m. on Monday, June 20. The victim was inappropriately touched by the suspect.
