Assault, Armed Robbery, Three Burglaries

This crime summary is from the weekly report for May 7 through May 15 from the Montgomery County Police Department's 6th District station, which covers Montgomery Village and Gaithersburg.

A residential burglary occurred in the 9200 block of La Belle Lane in Stewartown between 7:30 a.m. and 7:47 p.m. on Wednesday, May 16. Forced entry; property taken.

A residential burglary occurred in the 7500 block of Elioak Terrace in Hadley Farms outside Montgomery Village between noon and 3:20 p.m. on Wednesday, May 16. Forced entry; property taken.

An attempted armed robbery occurred in the 18200 block of Flower Hill Way in Gaithersburg at around 7:15 p.m. on Thursday, May 17. The suspect assaulted the victim and unsuccessfully attempted to obtain property. The suspect is described as a white male, 19 to 22 years old, goatee and short black hair.

An armed robbery occurred in the unit block of Grantchester Place in the Saybrooke community of Gaithersburg sometime between 12:45 a.m. and 2 a.m. on Saturday, May 19. The suspect displayed a weapon and obtained property from the victim. The suspect is described as a black male, 20 to 30 years old, 6’3” to 6’4” old, gray hoodie and a black jacket.

A residential burglary occurred in the 9500 block of Aspenwood Lane in North Village at around 3 a.m. on Sunday, May 20. No forced entry; property taken. 

An aggravated assault occurred at the Lakeforest bus stop in Gaithersburg at 7:42 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22. The suspect assaulted the victim with a weapon.
