Aggravated Assault, Delivery Driver Robbed, Three Home Burglaries

Crime summary covers Feb. 22 through March 1.

The following is from the most recent crime summary for the Montgomery County Police Department's Sixth District, which covers Montgomery Village and Gaithersburg.

A residential burglary occurred in the 10200 block of Crested Iris Drive in Stedwick between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m on Saturday, Feb. 26. Suspects entered the residence and removed property. There were no signs of force.

An aggravated assault occurred in the 18300 block of Streamside Drive in Flower Hill on Saturday, Feb. 26. The argument was between known parties. The victim was cut several times and the suspect was arrested at the scene. Fernando A. Reyes-Hernandez, 21, of no fixed address, has been charged with two counts of first-degree assault. A trial date is set for later this month.

A residential burglary occurred in the 8200 block of Shady Spring Drive in Emory Grove between 9:30 a.m. and 1:20 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 28. Suspects forced their way into the residence and removed property.

A residential burglary occurred in the 19900 block of Tygart Lane in Hadley Farms on Tuesday, March 1. Suspects entered the residence and removed property. There was no sign of force.

A robbery occurred in the parking lot in the 18600 block of Walkers Choice Road at 10:45 p.m on Tuesday, March 1. After delivery driver was confronted by two suspects who demanded the cash. The suspects implied a weapon. They fled on foot after obtaining property. Both suspects are described as black males, 6 feet tall, wearing all black clothing and with cloth over their faces.
