Montgomery's Most Popular Potations
Smirnoff repeats as the county's top-selling spirit.
Last year, Patch stirred up a list of the county's in 2010. That list made such a splash with readers that we decided to check back with the county's Department of Liquor Control to see which libations were lined up in our liquor cabinets in 2011.
Diane Wurdeman, who works with the county retail stores, ranked the liquors by the volume sold, broken down into the most popular sizes, flavors or proofs within a brand, rather than the most popular brands overall.
A big thanks to Wurdeman for her help!
