Browse Through A Bounty of Spring's Fineries

Easter is nearly here, which means Mother’s Day is just around the corner. Fortunately, the Montgomery Village Foundation's Spring Shopping Boutique will offer some last-minute options tomorrow for that forgotten birthday or anniversary or finding those non-candy items to fill a wee one’s basket or that oh-so-perfect gift for mom. 

Event Coordinator Emily Fields is expecting around 300 shoppers and 50 vendors at the boutique, which has grown in each of its three years. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday at the . Admission is free.

Vendors’ items will range from jewelry to professional photographs to retail finds—and for those with a sweet tooth, chocolate candies will also be for sale.

"We offered the Holiday Craft Bazaar for years and years, and a lot of the vendors were looking for another avenue to sell their items, and we wanted to also offer some retail items," Fields said. "So we came up with something for the opposite time of the year, for them to sell their wares."
