Farmers' Bounty at Your Doorstep

Produce and more finds its way to debut of Montgomery Village Farmers Market.

Months of buzz and anticipation have finally come to a head: Montgomery Village’s farmers market debuts on Saturday, putting an emphasis on local, sustainable and organic.

The market will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday until Oct. 29 in the parking lot of Christ the Servant Lutheran Church, off the intersection of Montgomery Village Avenue and Centerway Road.

Eleven vendors are bringing all manner of produce, plus plenty of other good eats, including artisan breads, grass-fed beef and cheese from prize-winning goats.
