Book Sale, Bridal Expo, Dance Concert and More in Montgomery County this Weekend

  • Description:  Most books are $1 or less, books range across all categories.  All proceeds will benefit the library.

Quarter Auction at Bohrer Park Activity Center

  • Where:  506 S Frederick Ave, Gaithersburg
  • When:  Saturday, Mar. 9, 12 p.m.
  • Description:  Quarter Auction at Bohrer Park Activity Center in Gaithersburg. Doors open at noon. Auction from 1-3 pm. Items for sale include gifts, baskets and vendors including Lia Sophia, Gigi Hill bags, Pampered Chef, Creative Memories, QT Kids, Thru the Vine, Touchstone Crystal, and Cake Pops by Erica. Potomac Pizza providing food for purchase.

Staples #0912 FREE Bridal Expo

  • Where:  Staples, 1531 Rockville Pike, Rockville
  • When:  Saturday, Mar. 9, 12 p.m.
  • Description:  The Rockville #0912 Staples Bridal Expo is a FREE event that will offer future brides the opportunity to browse and sample various wedding services.
  • Cost:  Free


Dance Bethesda Concert

  • Where:  Round House Theatre, 4545 East-West Hwy, Bethesda
  • When:  Saturday, Mar. 9, 8 p.m.
  • Description:  Dance companies were selected through an adjudicated audition process. Fifty dance companies from Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C. submitted performance pieces for Dance Bethesda auditions. Featured dance companies were selected by Dan Joyce, Associate Professor in the School of Dance at George Mason University; Elizabeth Walton, Associate Professor at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, and Septime Webre, Artistic Director of the Washington Ballet.

Northwest High School Presents: IN THE HEIGHTS
