Montgomery County Master Gardeners and Grow It Eat It, Maryland's Food Gardening Network, will host a vegetable garden open house to teach the attendees how to start a vegetable garden or improve an existing one.  Sessions will show how to start seeds indoors, how to care for garden tools, why soil testing is important, and how to begin composting. Tours of the Demonstration Garden, a plant sale, and seed swap will take place.  Ask questions about gardening at the plant clinic.  No registration is required.
