Maybe my analogy is off base but.... I see the above $25 12 year practice (defunked though it mayRead Moren ow be) similar to me ordering on phone or online an item from company giving them my charge card up front, of course to guarantee IN GOOD FAITH, my honest intention to pay for that item. Then the company comes back with "sorry, it's out of stock and we are no longer going to carry that item". Then they (company) proceed to put the charge on my credit card anyway claiming it was some sort of Administrative/Processing fee 'cause it took their employee five minutes to check and verify the availability or lack thereof of ordered product. LOL!

Excerpt from web site provided: "All children deserve to experience the thrill and escapismRead Moreof meaningful physical play. What’s more, it just takes a bit of thought and planning, and everyone can enjoy the exhilaration and magic that arguably only playgrounds can produce. Of course, more than anything it’s about social interaction – and in this respect no child should be left on the sidelines. Play parks without proper wheelchair access and equipment suitable for all visitors – including those with special needs – are starting to seem like relics from the past. Here we look at 30 of the most impressive accessible and inclusive playgrounds from around the world."

According to a 2009 report published by the national non-profit dedicated to saving play, Kaboom, playing lets kids use their imagination while improving their dexterity, physical strength, emotional strength and cognitive skills."

Are you listening, MVF? The current response from newly-elected Powers That Be after a long-enough Read Morewait is that "it might be on table in future after this, that and the other thing". That response doesn't make it anymore than the total opposition that has persisted for literally years when request & suggestion was first placed on the table. It is quite obvious new response from Board member(s) is a means to placate! Don't ya know that such doesn't work on me?! Hummm! Excerpt from above web site: "According to Kaboom, there are several factors that make a playground great: •Encourages movement •Incorporates nature •Looks interesting •Overhead elements (monkey bars) •Balance elements •Multi-generational elements (shade, seating, picnic area) •Allows friendly competition •Accessibility •Cushioning groundcover"

Sitting outside relaxing after working in gardens; now admiring one of the nicest home in theRead Morecommun ity (mine...hummm!) and had to laugh. Thinking that it wouldn't surprise me i.e. if a neighbor had a contractor out working on replacing roof (which is usually a 2-3 day job as I speak from experience). Contractor leaves for the day (COB till next morning) and, of course, work materials still there & roof not as yet completed. Envision long-overdue HOA inspection volunteer walking by, observing the incomplete roof and actually sending a 'Notice of Violation' to homeowner for roof (in progress). LOL! That wouldn't be the most absurd thing they ever did, believe me! And, when it comes to house numbers, somebody please tell HOA that in spite of their 'argument' (w/usual no logic behind it) that house number are now approved to be on fence or 'beside my front door' but not over door "because people notice the fence first" (per SVHC) that the focal point of ANY HOUSE IS THE FRONT DOOR; not a dang fence! Stayed tuned! I'm still working 'hot and heavy' on that Best Seller about MVF and SVHC!
