Crime Report: One Robbery, Three Attempted Robberies, Four Homes Burgled

This crime summary is from the weekly report for Aug. 13 through Aug. 21—the most recent available—from the Montgomery County Police Department's 6th District station, which covers Montgomery Village and Gaithersburg.
An ATTEMPTED ROBBERY occurred in the 18400 block of Lost Knife Circle—at the Cider Mill apartment complex in Montgomery Village—on Thursday, Aug. 16 at around 5:45 p.m.
A RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY occurred on Thursday, Aug. 16 in the 18700 block of Severn Road—near Goshen Road just east of Montgomery Village. No further details were provided.
Three THEFTS FROM VEHICLES occurred between Thursday, Aug. 16 and Friday, Aug. 17 in the Maryland Place community of Montgomery Village. Clothing and a video game console were among the items stolen from vehicles on Keymar Way, Transhire Way and Thomas Farm Road. None of the vehicles showed sign of forced entry.
A RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY occurred in the 18000 block of Royal Bonnet Circle—the South Village community of Montgomery Village—on Friday, Aug. 17 just after 4 a.m. No forced entry; unknown if anything was taken.
A RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY occurred in the 10000 block of Ridgeline Drive—near Club House Road and the Montgomery Village Center—on Friday, Aug. 17. No further details were provided.
A GARAGE BURGLARY occurred in the unit block of Halfpenny Court—the East Village community of Montgomery Village—on Saturday, Aug. 18 between midnight and 5 a.m. Three purses were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
An ATTEMPTED STRONG-ARM ROBBERY occurred in the 800 block of Trotters Ridge Lane—near the intersection of Christopher Avenue and Russell Avenue in Gaithersburg—on Sunday, Aug. 19 just before 7 p.m. Two males assaulted a victim and tried to remove property. The victim fought back and the suspects fled.
An ATTEMPTED ROBBERY occurred in the 18900 block of Smoothstone Way—in the Heron’s Cove community of Montgomery Village—on Monday, Aug. 20 at 11 p.m. A 17-year-old male from that neighborhood was apprehended by K9 units. He is being charged as an adult in connection with a string of pizza delivery robberies.
A STRONG-ARM ROBBERY occurred in the 19000 block of Montgomery Village Avenue—adjacent to the Center Stage community of Montgomery Village—on Tuesday, Aug. 21 at around 7:20 p.m. Four suspects assaulted the victim and obtained property.
